About the Authors

Ravi Kalakota, Ph.D., is the Managing Partner and Vice President of Strategy and Solutions Management at Unisys Corporation. Kalakota holds the distinction of cowriting Frontiers of Electronic Commerce, the e-commerce industry’s earliest and now considered classic book. He also coauthored the business bestseller e-Business: Roadmap for Success, as well as Services Blueprint: Roadmap for Execution.
Suresh Sharma has led multiple global business, technology, and process improvement initiatives at General Electric (GE) over the past decade within the Energy and Corporate R&D divisions. A GE-certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt, he is internationally known for his pragmatic vision, thought leadership, and execution excellence. His prior experience includes positions at NASA’s Langley Research Center, British Aerospace, Rolls-Royce, and Matra.
