Dr. Ravi Kalakota, CEO


Ravi Kalakota Ph.D. is the CEO of E-Business Strategies (ebs). A leading authority on business technology trends and strategy, he has consulted with start-ups and Fortune 1000 companies and written eight pioneering books on e-commerce, e-business, m-business, and e-services. Two of his books are considered by Amazon.com to be “e-commerce classics.” His most recent book, Mobilizing SAP: Business Processes, ROI and Best Practices (Mivar Press, 2005), addresses the knowledge gap around SAP Netweaver, Mobile Infrastructure, RFID, and Applications. Previously, Kalakota served as the Georgia Research Alliance (GRA) Chair Professor at Georgia State University. He also held the Xerox Chair in information systems at the Simon Graduate School of Business, University of Rochester.

Marcia Robinson, President


Marcia Robinson is president of E-Business Strategies (ebs), a technology research and strategy consulting company. She co-authored the business technology bestseller e-Business: Roadmap for Success, as well as e-Business 2.0: Roadmap for Success, M-Business: The Race to Mobility, Services Blueprint: Roadmap for Execution, and Offshore Outsourcing: Business Models, ROI and Best Practices. She has extensive experience in outsourcing services delivery and customer relationship management. Previously, she held management positions at Electronic Data Systems (EDS), SunTrust Bank in Atlanta, and Frontier Corporation.
